The Preschool Program is a comprehensive program. The learning environment is primarily based on The Emergent Curriculum use in high quality early education settings. Because young children learn best through active interaction with the physical and social environment the curriculum is focused on developing an experientially rich, developmentally appropriate environment that responds to the creativity of children and teachers.

Throughout the day, children make self-directed and guided choices using choice systems, participate in small groups and projects, join in circle-times with the whole group, and reflect upon and document their learning experiences. Children are guided to critical learning experiences that form the building blocks of healthy development.
